Nerikomi is a Japanese term expressing construction of hand built ceramics using a variety of coloured clays

this ceramic style satisfies my desire to work with colour and clay and develop an original approach to 21st century ceramic art.

 

similar to building with blocks of colour., the idea is for harmony to be found between tone, shade and form Through mixing, matching and contrasting porcelain.
